CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The Scientific committee 7th ANSACON, 2025 is pleased to invite abstracts for Original Papers, Case series, Systematic review, meta-analysis and case reports from Members of Anatomy Fraternity & Allied Disciplines.

The scientific presentations (Oral/ Poster) will be covered under the following categories:

  1. Gross Anatomy, Forensic Anatomy and Applied Anatomy.
  2. Growth & Development, Teratology & Embryology.
  3. Imaging, Museum & Embalming Techniques.
  4. Genetics & Reproductive Biology.
  5. Histology, Histochemistry, Cytology & Immunology.
  6. Neurosciences & Endocrinology.
  7. Medical Education, Medical Ethics & newer technology in Medical teaching.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission:

  • Types of Presentation: Oral and Poster
  • Types of Papers accepted:
    1. Oral Paper Presentation (All Sessions): Original research papers, case series and review article.
    2. Poster Presentation: Original research paper, case study, case series and review article may be considered.
  • It is mandatory that the Principal Author should be the presenting author for all Presentations under the “Award Paper Category”.
  • The abstracts should be in English, structured within 250 words using Microsoft “Times New Roman font type”, 12 point size and double line spacing. The title should be kept in bold.
  • For Case studies, unstructured abstract may be considered.
  • For all types of research, abstracts should include: Title of the research, Authors: (Presenting Author and Co-authors), Name of Institute, Introduction, Methodology, Results with Statistical Analysis, and Conclusion.
  • All abstracts should include three to five Keywords.
  • The abstract document file submitted should have “Presenter name_short name of College”.
  • Membership (life or ordinary) is a prerequisite for all Scientific Presentations. (Oral/ Poster presentation) Except for Undergraduate Students.
Oral Presentation will be under two sessions: 1. Free and 2. Award Paper (for PG & UG students only)
All the Poster presentations will be under Award category by default.
  • All the abstract will be reviewed by the Conference Scientific committee/ Designated peer reviewers and presenting authors will be duly communicated by e-mail of the acceptance. Guidelines for presentation will accompany the communicating mail.
  • Acceptance of Paper / Poster: Only valid members of Anatomical Society of Assam who have registered for the conference shall be eligible to present scientific papers/posters.
  • Last date for submission of the abstract is 31st January 2025 by 5:00 pm.
  • All the delegates are encouraged to register before the 15th November, 2024 to take advantage of the early bird rates.

  • Note: Researchers are encouraged to submit more than one abstract for scientific presentations. The final decision regarding the presentation rests with the organizing committee.
